Alex was shown into his room by a Lieutenant who been shipped through the gate from Earth to held defend Atlantis from the Wraith.
"Thank you, Lieutenant.."
Alex dumped his bags and looked around the room..
This needs personalising.. he thought to himself. And opening up one of his bags, he started to unpack..

Finishing off, he placed his Commisioning photo on the wall and stepped back, admiring his work. Chuckling to himself, he picked up his leg holster, which had a standard Berreta M9 in, and put it on. He stepped out into the hallway before realising he didnt know his way around...
Darn.. I dont even have an ear piece radio yet... he thought

The two women turned down the coridoor which had the accomodation off to each side. They passed by Rorys room and several others, leaving Rory to ponder who her neighbours might be. They turned into another corridoor and nearly bumped into the man standing in the hallway. Rory immediatley recignised him as Captain Temple, she had seen him about on the the Deadalus but as yet had not had a real opportunity to speak to him. "Sorry Sir" she said paying him the usual compliment and saluting him, "Didn't see you there."

Alex smiled at the Lieutenant, whom he'd seen around the Deadalus and gave a return salute. "No problem, Lieutenant.." He brushed down his jacket before, turning back to the Lieutenant and extending his hand.

Rory shook the offered hand and gave a smile "Lieutenant Rory O'Neill" she offered in return " nice to meet you Sir. So if its not too impolite may I ask where your heading?"

"I was just getting the grand tour care of Dr Baldwin here, why dont you join us?" Rory turned to the Doctor "If thats ok with you?" the Doctor nodded, "Well thats settled then we were just on our way to the Commissary"
