Insine Roxanne's Quarters « Thread Started on Apr 25, 2006, 10:38pm »
Roxanne was led to her quarters by Major Lorne. She entered her new space and looked around. /This is...nice. Different...but nice./ She thought to herself.
Walking over to the metal desk, she plunked down her backpack. She thought everything looked industrial, but in an elegant sort of way. Some of her personal items had been delivered already, and she was glad.
Pulling out her 36 cd's, she made her way to thier tower and placed them in the slots. Every cd had some special meaning to her. Laughing to herself, she imagined someone would think her a bit eccentric considering her music choices. Garth Brooks to Paul Spaeth to some golden oldie collections. Even a few 80's hair bands were in there, her favorite being Bon Jovi.
Finishing that task, she went to the desk again and pulled out her journal. Holding it to herself and sighing heavily, she flipped through a few pages, and then placed it on the table by the bed. Kissing her hand, then laying it on the journal, she realized that her life was good, and she didn't regret any decisions she had made in the last ten yrs of her life. She finished unpacking her things, and when finished decided to head to the one thing that started it all....she wanted to see the gate.
Roxanne arrived at her quarters and grabber her cd player and headphones. She knelt down in front of the cd tower and looked through them, trying to find one that would make her feel better. The perfect one caught her eye, and she grabbed it and left, heading toward one of the balconies overlooking the ocean and part of Atlantis. {out to balcony} [ooc, if any want to join me after, thats fine]
