How To…
Roleplay!
[2] Create a Character!
Head to the Check In board and go to Character Template. Copy the template and fill it out with your character information. When you’re all done with the template, head into New Characters and post it up!
[3] Explore!
There’s a lot to see on City of Ancients and things are always being added, so take some time and explore. Look over announcements, introduce yourself and if you have any questions, just ask!
[4] Playing!
When it comes to playing on an RPG it’s much easier than it seems. For this how to guide I’ll create an example to go along with the explanation.

There’s a new post in Dr. Elizabeth Weir’s Office…
Post by Elizabeth Weir:
Elizabeth sighed softly as Rodney and Radek left her office, even with their combined IQ they hadn’t managed to come up with a solution to the sudden overrides that had kicked on, locking the expedition team out of entire sections of the city. She’d already sent word back to Earth about the problem, as was procedure, but she’d been hoping that her team could figure something out.
Reply by Kate Baldwin:
Kate glanced through the large glass windows that surrounded Dr. Weir’s office and noticed the green eyed brunette sitting behind her desk. She approached and knocked lightly on the door frame, “Ma’am? You wanted to see me?”
Reply by Elizabeth Weir:
“Oh yes, Dr. Baldwin, please come in.” Elizabeth smiled and stood up. She motioned to one of the chairs in front of her desk.
Since I don’t play Elizabeth, I don’t know what she has planned but her player asked me to come in so I wrote my own little way into the scene. From there Elizabeth replied to my post, leading my character into the room, setting up for whatever it is she wants to tell me.
The easiest way to know when to come into a storyline? Well there are several ways.

If you’ve been “tagged” in another thread and you want to reply there and aren’t really needed where you are, write a little exit for your character, responding to a call elsewhere so your character doesn’t just disappear from one thread and show up in another.
Well that’s all I can think of, if anyone needs further help, let me know!
