"No, of course not," John replied with a smile. "Right this way." He offered her his arm. The colonel had quite a flirtatious streak, which sometimes got him into trouble with alien women, but he figured there could be no harm in humoring a young Earth woman who had a good chance of being smitten with him anyway.

Marcus stood by and waited for Elizabeth's nod before he stepped up, "All right folks, if you'll follow me I can show you to your quarters and then you'll get to explore the City." "Sir?" Rory waited for the Major to acknowledge her. " I have a fair bit of kit will somebody be available to help me with it once I have my quarters secured?" Due to Rorys background in forensics she had thought it best to bring along some of her equipment, maybe it would be helpfull at some point. One of the biggest parts of her set up was her computer and its three external hard drives contaning endless amounts of referance data.

Alex smiled at the doctor and listened to the Major as he spoke. "Yessir." He picked up his bags and moved out of the room.

Colonel Caldwell walked out of his ship and moved through the crowd of people who had started to gather. We walked over to Dr. Wier and smiled. "Dr Wier, its good to see you all again."

"Thankyou Sir" Rory smiled at the Majors offer of help and shouldered her pack following closely after him. 'I so dont wanna get lost around here' she thought looking at the scenery 'everything looks the same!' She tried to memorise the route they were taking, normally Rorys sense of direction was pretty good and she'd find her way around in no time at all. She was looking forward to getting settled in her quarters and then she could hopefully go and take a look around Atlantis.

Elizabeth smiled at the Air Force colonel. It had been several weeks since she'd last seen Steven Caldwell since the trip to and from Earth took about three weeks each way. "Welcome back Colonel. Its always a pleasure to have you here."
She noticed Teyla and excused herself, she knew she'd be talking with Caldwell soon enough.

Absently standing there she watched as John left with the woman and she grinned to herself, he was horrible. He flirted with everyone. Glancing over towards Caldwell her expression fell slightly, the man didn't like her. Teyla moved from her spot and moved out the door, leaning against the railing. She would talk to Elizabeth later about the new arrivals.

Rayne smiled at Sheppard's old-fashioned gallantry and accepted the offered arm. Unless her judgement was mistaken -and it rarely was when it came to people- John Sheppard was a flirt. Which suit her just fine. Her last station had been way too serious and while she hadn't come to the Pegesus Galaxy looking for fun, a little flirtation with the military leader of Atlantis couldn't hurt. She adjusted the backpack hanging by one strap on her shoulder and let him lead away.
