"I don't know about Teyla, but I woke up on the ground next to the Stargate a few hours ago." John tested the table with his finger before leaning against it. "I've been trying the DHD on and off since then to try and get back here."

"Report to the Infirmary now." Elizabeth ordered. She wasn't exactly sure what was going on but she didn't want to run a risk, not with Ronon locked up and Rory shrunk.

John blinked at her. "Is something wrong?" he queried, not sure what to expect, what with her odd reaction to his return.

Elizabeth took a step towards him, speaking in a low voice, "John you've been missing for hours. Ronon and Lt. O'Neill returned about an hour ago. Lt. O'Neill's body has reverted into that of an eight year old and Ronon has no memory of the past seven years. He's attacked several people, we had to put him into a holding cell. And we still don't know where Teyla is."

Alarmed, John digested this for a moment, squeezing Amy's hand when she slipped it into his own. The girl gazed into his face worriedly. "John?"
"I'm all right," John told her with a quick smile. "Just a little disoriented. It's... hard to explain." He paused. "I'll think I'll visit the infirmary, like you suggested." Before Amy could protest, he strode out of the room.

Amy watched him go, her eyes worried. "I don't understand," she said, turning to Elizabeth. "Is something wrong with him?"

Elizabeth shook her head, giving the girl a small smile, "I'm not sure yet. If there's anything, Dr. Beckett will let us know."

Amy bit her lip. "I hope so." Her brother seemed to be acting very strangely, at least.

Elizabeth put a hand on Amy's back and rubbed slightly, "Come on, its John. He'll be fine."

"He's acting really strangely, though. I mean, you'd think he'd say something more than just 'I'm a little disoriented.'" Amy braced her hands against the table. "He's obviously more than just a little disoriented."

"He doesn't want us to worry." Elizabeth said, "You know John. He has to be strong for everyone."

"If he doesn't want me to worry, he should tell me what's going on so I know what to expect. He knows that," Amy said earnestly, looking up into Elizabeth's face.

Elizabeth gave the teen a small smile, "Maybe he doesn't even know yet."

Amy stared at the floor for a long moment, before shaking herself out of her thoughts. "I should go," she said, without looking at the older woman, and without another word, she exited the control room. The teenager had several hiding places in the city that no one, not even her brother, knew about. It was to one of these that she was headed.

Elizabeth rubbed her forehead, turning around to look at the Stargate. She was thankful to have John back but there was still someone missing and she wouldn't be able to relax until she was home. Glancing at Zelenka he gave her a somber nod before going back to the test Amy had been running and Elizabeth returned back into her office.
