As the tingling of the Asgard transport beam subsided, Rodney took a brief moment to look around his surroundings.
Despite having lived and worked in Atlantis for quite sometime, Rodney could still never shake that feeling of awe everytime he arrived in the Control Room.
The feeling of awe didn't last long though, as he made a mental note of never offering assistance to Novak again. How the Daedalus was still in working order was beyond him.
"Right." he said to no-one in particular, and headed for Dr. Weir's office in time to see Dr Weir and Dr Sterling heading his way.

Elizabeth smiled at finding Rodney suddenly on the small landing that connected her office to the control room. She walked over smiling, "Welcome back Rodney, we've missed you."

"Likewise Elizabeth." Rodney replied.
"I uh got held up on the Daedalus. It appears I'm indispensable everywhere... Anything interesting happen while I was away? Radek blow anything up or..."
He trailed off when he saw how concerned Elizabeth appeared to be.
"What happened?"

"There was a mission, something went wrong." Elizabeth said gently, "We don't know what happened yet. You just missed Teyla shooting at the guard and earlier Ronon nearly killed two SF's."

Rodney quickly absorbed the news
"Any idea why they're acting like that. What was the mission? What about Sheppard and O'Neill?"

"Thus far no idea. They've all returned at different times, no one has any memory of what happened." Elizabeth said. She looked over her shoulder at Dr. Sterling and Lt. O'Neill, "The good lt. is here with us and John was sent down to the infirmary hours ago. I haven't heard anything on his condition since."

As Amy peered around the corner of the wall, she saw Elizabeth talking to Rodney. Deciding that it wasn't worth it to wait till the man left, she took a step forward, knocking against the wall to alert them of her presence.

Elizabeth looked over and nodded for Amy to come in.

A sort of worried half-smile flashed across Amy's face. "Do you have any news of John yet?" she asked nervously, locking her hands behind her back.

"No," Elizabeth shook her head, "I would have been on Carson hours ago but Teyla's return took more of my time than I expected."

"Teyla, Teyla's back?" Amy said, looking up at her in surprise. "What happened that took up so much time?"

"She opened fire in the Gateroom." Elizabeth said, "She had to be subdued and then transfered to Carson."

Amy frowned, thinking this over. "But if that's over with, shouldn't you ask Dr. Beckett about what happened?" she said finally. "I'm sure it couldn't hurt to check on Teyla, and... I'd like to know how John is doing."

Elizabeth nodded, rubbing the crown of her nose, "Yes I know Amy. I was just discussing the situation with Rodney."

Amy sighed softly, and turned away. "Well... let me know when you find out? I'll be in my quarters." She walked away slowly.
