Carson walked out onto the balcony and stared at the rippling waters below.
Coming out first thing in the morning before anyone else started walking the city was something Carson always loved doing, it was his time to embrace the city as peaceful.
He never knew anyone else to get up so early to see the city without the buzzing of people, or the worry the Wraith were going to betray their alliance.
Nothing could ruin Carson's time as he watched the water shimmer, that until he saw someone. Sitting with legs in the water, Carson headed down to his or her position, wondering who would be crazy enough as he was to get up this early.

Kelsey sat with her feet dangling in the water. Life already had taken a couple turns, and she was suffering from insomnia. Though she couldn't complain, after all, it was such a beautiful city and so empty in the wee hours of the morning. Sighing she kicked her feet lightly in the water.
Kelsey wasn't part of the most recent mission, but she saw the result, and it didn't look good. Slightly wondering if this incident lead to her bout of insomnia, Kelsey heard footsteps and quickly turned around.
"Hello Doctor," she said softly. "I didn't think anyone else was up this time in the morning."

"Kelsey Siddles," she said pointing roughly to herself. Feet still in the water she noticed and pulled her feet out quickly. "The water wont kill me will it?"

"I don't think I do," Kelsey said before she laughed softly. "So what are you doing up this early? I thought I was the only one around here with crazy insomnia..."

"I needed time to think," Carson replied.
He looked at Kelsey and frowned his brows. "How long have you had insomnia?"

"Just a couple of weeks," Kelsey replied. "Nothing that bad, I did discover being able to watch this," she said gesturing to the soft rippling waters that were now turning light warm purple.

"Not at all," Carson said. He was worried about Kelsey, insomnia was normal around here, but not so much that their eyes were bloodshot from lack of sleep.

"Doctor?" Kelsey asked noticing the way Carson was looking at her. A bit nerve rendering, Kelsey was a tad bit nervous now.

"I don' doubt that," Carson said touching her arm preventing her from moving-in a nice way of course. "But I don' want you to be working if you're that tired."
