"Thats sweet, really it is, but I'm fine," Kelsey said. Even though she knew Carson could tell she was lying, she said it any way. Her blood shot eyes and bags spoke what she didn't.

"No, you're not," Carson said staring her right in the eyes. "Come with me, I'll give you a sedative to help you sleep."

Kelsey sighed softly with a smile and nodded. "Okay, but then after I get some sleep, we'll leave these conversations to these early mornings when we watch the sun rise?" she asked following Carson down the 'streets' of Atlantis. It really was a pretty city, and she could probably enjoy it more with some actual sleep. After all sleep just made everything better.

"Of course," Carson said leading Kelsey by the elbow. Her body relaxed slightly and he felt it. Smiling inwardly Carson knew something changed, he didn't know what exactly. But he knew that his once peaceful moments in the break of the day on the balconies of Atlantis were no longer just his. It was theirs; whatever they were. Doctor/Patient, Friends, Acquaintances, Workers, or whatever else came thier way. Carson knew that he made a new friend who slightly changed everything.
